Spring Time Here?

The past few days have been so wonderful, weather wise at least. What is it about the weather that motivates us? Why do we as humans have "rainy days" or winter de-motivation? For me, and many others, the end of winter has a very strong effect on me. I feel happier and more motivated.

What is odd, is that in the winter it can be sunny too. When I am in the house durning a sunny winter day, I could have the thermostat set at 70-75, but it doesnt motivate me.

When I am inside on a sunny day, with the house @ 75F, how does my body know to act different when it is warm outside vs cold. If I have not been outside yet, how does it know?

Why is it that in the summer, I can set the A/C to 65 and feel great, yet when it is 65 outside I feel chilly and un-motivated.

A New Symphony

I started writing a orchestrial score the other day. After a few hours of work I was very pleased with the progress and sound. I quickly found the limits of my computer. I was otherwise satisfied with my old computer, but I couldnt let it hold me back from composing. So it was time for an upgrade.

When I sleep, I hear the music that I write. Each night, I hear new parts of the song and new instruments to add. It is very cool how it all happens. Although I have written other types of songs, I find the orchstral score the easiest to write. At some point, I will post a sample.
